Youtube!!!....this is a great website in wich you find every kind of videos, since: informative videos about science , maths , history , etc... to funny videos.

I had used it since I knew what is internet , I`m talking about ten or twelve years back!, when I was a little girl. :)

When you go to start in the web-page , you can see a lot of topics , and they are: Motor , Comedy , Entertainment , Cinema&Animation ,Games , Advices&Style , ONG&Political activity , People&Blogs , Pets&Animals , Science&Tecnology , Sports , Travels&Events.

As the title of topics says, you can find wherever that you are looking for.

For example:  if you check  PETS&ANIMALS: it will appear things like :

-Pet´s care; "How to set up a freshwater aquarium" , "How to trim your dog´s nails" .

-People`s pets ; "Jasper: the energizer skunk" , "My lazy cat , Nina".

-Veterinary and sciencies videos : "Dog castration detailed surgical video" , "Humpback whale song".

I like Youtube , because these helps me with my studies , with the kitchen , with my favorite music , with my look (cut my hair ) and watch HolasoyGerman. xD

I visit it all days , anything that I do in the web , I do with Youtube.

 

 

A country I would like to visit.

United Kingdom! , but especially Scotland!...

I like this country because I feel that is is magical , epic , and it has beauty landscapes.

I don´t really know to much about it , but I know that a hero come from to this country , he was William Walace...I know that in one castle the queen Maria Estuardo was made prisoner for the conflicts about the "crown" with her cousin the England`s queen Elizabeth I .And I want to go to see Nesie , the monster to the  lake Ness.

I like this contry (island) , because I like its folklore : the instrument most knowing the "bagpipes" (the music), the clothes , good beer (xD) , beauty lakes , animals , landscapes , castles , etc.

If I go , I don´t sure about stay there , beacuse I always miss Chile , but I can visit it for a pair of months or something like that...The thing is that I would have to take a big memory in my camera , because I would take a lot of photographs !!!!!

My favorite dog breeds.

To be honest I don´t have a specifically favorite dog breeds , because like I said before I love all dogs these have pedigree or not, but today I gonna show you  2 beautifull breeds for me...

 Australian Shepherd. (Aussies)

Origen: U.S.A.

 I like it because is really nice , dinamic , energetic , sociable, happy  and it always need to do something , specially grazing.


They could be tricolor or bicolour , taking black , red , copper ,  gray and white.
 Aussies can born with tail or without it. 


They are so smart ; usually trained for competitions or service to  people

I like this dog because its puppies are so beautifull and when they are adults are so refined.


The pelage`s colour take differents shades of gray. Blue eyes (puppies), turquoise or amber in adults.

Long and wide ears. Its tail is cut at the third vertebra. 


Is a hunting  dog.

A PICTURE I LIKE:

This one was took this year , in my summer vacations on February. 

Here I was with my little cousin Catalina. We were in San Carlos`s parade ground , this is located in Ñiquen, VIII Region of Bio-bío.

I think my mom took it, or maybe my aunt...I don´t rememeber so clearly , but I remember that we arrived there after to eat a delicious "mote con huesillo" and walked  around  the market .

Here I had the half of my hair pink (I missed  it ) , but it looked like a clown wig!..jajaj....Now I know why people look at me so strangely ...Catalina said : I really like your hair , you rock! , but here in the country , we don´t see persons like you , we just see normal people!...xD...so I am not normal?         Big thing , like if I don´t know it! ...I don´t care.

Like you can see ,we were sat on the grass , maybe singing or talking , (or doing both). We passed a beautiful afternoon , the day was perfect: It was really great  , so happy and the sun shines.

I really love Catalina , although she is more younger that me...I like , because I can be a child again...and this is the best part of the life...C:

Why do I want to be a vet?

I think the most common answer will be, because I love animals! and this is obvious for all of us!

All my longings began,  when I was a little girl  who was just two years old , when I watched "The Lion King" , I liked this movie since it appeared , to now....(is one of my favorite)   xD

While I was growing up , the feelings for to care and rescue animals were growing up with me at the same time.

I started  to observe insects conducts (ants) , remove the earthworms from my garden , care for birds, and things like that (I was a real doctor when I was a child, jajaj).

I liked to watched animal planet on tv , "la ley de la selva" and others tv shows like that.

In my family we always loved animals , I have had by pets: 20 chicks , 14 parakeets , 2 ducks , 1 thrush , 1 rabbit, 1 cuy and 5 dogs.

I could relate to Lisa.

For all of these , I never had and other "REAL" option to study, I always wanted to be a vet, but in the high school , I started to think : "vets earn good money? , people take theirs animals and go to the vet? , this is income for me?" , I ever knew the answer , but I always said to me "this is not , the most important thing , I will be happy doing what I want" , and here I am!.

My experience in the university has been incredible , I love go to "farm wolrd" and look and stroke all the animals that I can!, and really is very good to be in a place in where people think like you  , in where the respet for the nature is the most important.

When I will become a real vet , I want to start my job with small animals , then have a job in the SAG (animal police) and be the first minister in the ministry called : Ministry of conservation and nature protection.

Dog-lover.

Hi everyone , I like all animals specifically mammals , but I must to confess that I love "dogs". I don´t have pedigree favorite , I think that all of these are nice , above all the "quiltros".

But today I`m gonna talk about the first chilean pedigre; the "Fox Terrier Chileno".

 Well , this dog appeared in the "Colonia time" (century XVIII), when european people come to America , they arrived with "fox terrier de pelo liso" (england pedigree), then this was mix with local dogs , and  the chilean terrier appeared.

This is a little dog , all its body is white , but its head is black with brown and presents a white band in the middle of its head. Its personality is very marked , they are playful , energetic , protective of its owns, nervous , happy and very intelligent!.

I love this dog  because I have one , and its really nice , and I could not have an other one.

This is Washington by Pepo , its the more popular chilean dog.

                                      What I think about...

1) Owning an exotic pet? , well I have to say that I am not complety agree. When you take an animal from other climate , you are submit this creature to constants stress (temperature , jet lag , differents sounds,etc)

if you  have not necessary care, the life for this "pet" will be horrible., also , many of this are extracted from the nature (parrots , snakes , fishes, turtles, rodents) and a lot of them die in the way  to the store. :(

2) Killing stray dogs?, this is NOT a solution for ME! I don't know why the "human being" have the right to do with the others nature's creatures all that HE want. It is not fair! kill for kill? This is a mess!

I think that we need (and when I say "we" , I mean all of us , especially the government) to change our retrograde mentality and respet the animals and  take care of our pets, and if someone won't do it , he will have to pay  for didn´t do it! , with jail (animal abuse) or cash (animal abandonment) , BUT this imprisonment will be reals ,  not like jokes that there is now , and finally create an animal police and true animals shelters. 

3) Clonig? absolutely not agree. I think that each creature is unique and perfect as God created it. Soon or later all we going to die , is the nature law , who are we for change this , and for what? Nature is perfect , exist a balance. Create someone identical to you , for don´t say part of you, or yourself , it has to be really striking : see it , touch it. It´s like looking to you  in a constant mirror. And for what ?, when you need a organ transplant , it will have to be necessary kill your clone, it will be like a murder by yourself! , this is very scary!...:$

4) Legalizing abortion in same cases? , I`m going to define the "cases":       

  yes to : when the fetus is dead (fetus infeasibility).

  No to:  pregnancy not wished by sexual violation or irresponsibility.

5) Recycling? the best , off course , YES!

 I think in Chile it must to be more culture about these! ,must recycling centers , at least one in each commune, and big centers like malls could transform all the energy that them consume  daily into more energy, I don't know how say it specifically , but it is like "recycling energy".

If I remember , I have this new one since 2 years ago. I think that this makes me the life more easy and fun.

What do I use it  for? everything!., I watch the new musical videos from my favorite artist , trailers of movies , funy videos and others who give you information , I talk with people , search  news preparations for my cakes , read the animalistic news, make my homeworks , visit shopping pages and a long etc. 

I use it always , every day, but not for a longer time , just for 1or 2 hours at day and distribute in 2 or 3 times at day (30  min each time). If I stay more time , I feel uncomfortable and boring. When I need to do my homework I used for all the time that`s be necessary.

I like it because I have all this "reach of my hand"  and just  one "click" to distance (or maybe two...jaja). If these would not exist , I think the daily  will  be more boring , when an earthquake cames we could not know about our family and friends so soon (because you know what happens with movile phone) , and we would know the knews when they had happen.

My music!  :P

Well , I must to say that I love music!!!...I like Rock&Rap....I love the rock&roll , rock classic (90") , metalcore ,etc...But today I`m gona talk about one of my best bands , they are "A DAY TO REMEMBER" .

This is a band from Florida , U.S.A. They play metalcore and  post-harcore. They are four musicians and one vocalist (Jeremy Mckinnon)...A.D.T.R  was created on 2003 and they continue playing for us!. In  their trayectory , they have recorded five albums , and the last is one of my favorites , this was called "What separates me from you" (recorded on 2010) .

I like A.D.T.R., because the vocalist can sing melodic with  differents tones and he can transform the sound of his voice to "throaty". I like them too , because their songs express a lot of feelings that you have in differents times of your life , but specially the troubles with people , for example the envy , the hate , the indifference, the love , the friendship ,wherever , everything that you can feel !, and off course the drummer , the guitar (acoustic and electric) take you an other pleace , in where all is gone and you are alone in your best place...

           Who I am?

PUCA&ME

Hello everyone my name is Betania Álvarez , but everybody call  me Beta.

I was born in Santiago , Chile on 1992. My elementary school was Colegio Polivalente Ingles , in La Pintana. Later on 2010 I completed  my high school in San Bernardo , in the school called Colegio Superior del Maipo.

Actually , I am studying veterinary sciencies in the Universidad de Chile , in La Pintana. If all goes well , I think that I will finish my program  in 2016 , but for these happens , I have to wait a long time                                              because this is my first year here.

REINA

In my family we are four persons and three dogs. My parents`s names are María and Hugo and my only sister is Raquel ; she was born 2 years before me , so we have a similar age , for these we are so closer.

My pets are the best that I have, they are : Reina , Sofy and my little dinosaur Puca....xD

In my free time , I love to spend time with my dogs  , to sing and listen my favorite music and to cook cakes and cookies.

My dream is that  people don`t hurt animals anymore and  we can conserve the mother Earth.
